with a little delay, the end of April brings the 3rd Monthly Feature Summary.
An important note first, though: During May, we will start inviting all Memsource users to join the community and post on the forum. We are going to advertise this on social media, in a newsletter, and some other emails. I believe that this will lead to a wider spectrum of ideas found on this forum and also an opportunity for everyone to promote their expertise to the others.
What's new in April?
Support for Term Level Metadata
To allow more complex work with terminology in Memsource, we are making it possible for users to specify advanced metadata fields for each of the terms.
The following metadata are currently supported for new or already existing terms:
- Part of Speech
- Short Translation
- Term Type

Term Base Redesign
In order to fully accommodate to the changes being introduced for term metadata, we have also redesigned the UI of the Term Bases to provide this information more easily.
The individual translations of your terms are now displayed in rows and columns have been rearranged to allow displaying of the various available term metadata.
You can also decide which languages are you interested in seeing as well as filter or show/hide respective metadata columns.
News to the Mobile App
In the job details screen, we now show the total word and segment counts of the job.
Memsource now has a feedback questionnaire located at the top of your Memsource UI. This will help us gain a better understanding of customer satisfaction and how likely users would be to recommend Memsource to others.
