I'd like to ask you a question based on my particular interest in training students at university departments that are not entirely translation-focused but still need to train future translators. Most often, these are departments of small languages - e.g. the Department of South Slavonic and Balkan Studies at the Charles University here in Prague.
The question is: Has such a department ever invited you to become an external lecturer and train their students in translation technology or project management?
If so, what was your experience? Did you feel that the introduction of technology in your course could change the rest of the curriculum, too?
The thing is that in my MA thesis (link below), I've designed best practices of such training and even created a sample course, but it was all based on research and I did not have a chance to put the course into practice yet.
By the way, you will notice familiar names in the thesis because some of the professors that were so kind to help me with the thesis are part of this forum as well. :)
