New Features and Improvements

  • Filter Target Text input field now features a toggle button to activate/deactivate Replace functionality allowing the replacement of strings in filtered segments.

  • Segments and Comments can now be filtered by Created by and Last Modified by dates.

  • In-Context Preview presents the Target preview by default instead of the Source.

  • A paper clip icon now indicates if a Reference file or note has been uploaded to a project.

Fixed Bugs

  • Term highlights are shifted to the right in segments with tags. This has been fixed.

  • If a bracket '<' is added to a translation, the text following the bracket is not visible in the target preview. This has been fixed.

  • Combining LTR and RTL tags in LTR texts causes formatting problems. This has been fixed.

Fixed Bugs

  • Using Windows phonetic typing tool to write Tamil or Hindi in a target segment overwrites the existing translation. This has been fixed.

  • Characters in Thai are deleted in the wrong sequence when using the backspace key. This has been fixed.

New Features and Improvements

  • Instant QA and Auto-complete items are now available in the Tools menu.

  • A warning is provided when security settings do not allow the loading of external content to the in-context preview.

  • The section Created By / Modified By / Show Changes has been divided into three sections providing better control of filtering options.

  • The first instance of a repetition is now specifically identified.

Fixed Bugs

  • Incorrect statistics provided when large jobs are joined. This has been fixed.

  • Text could not be selected from the Preview pane for copying elsewhere. This has been fixed.

  • En Dash and Em Dash not available in the Insert symbol menu. This has been fixed.

  • Replace all function fails on unloaded segments. This has been fixed.

  • Imported text containing emojis are not editable in Arabic. This has been fixed.

  • Cursor appears in the wrong line when long words break to a new line in the editor. This has been fixed.

  • Every segment with the same source was considered a repetition regardless of the Context key (if the job was imported with Context key). This has been fixed and only segments with the same source text and the same Context key are marked as repetition in the Editor.

  • A unsaved conversation dialog with LQA maintains unsaved LQA and applies to it the next saved dialog. This has been fixed.

v20.1 - January 7, 2020

Note that as of this release the versioning strategy has changed. Version number will reflect the year of the release followed by the number of the release during the year. This release is the 1st of the year 2020.

Fixed Bugs

  • Ctrl+Shift+Up/Down Arrow and Ctrl+Shift+Up/Up Arrow did not select text by line. This has been fixed.

  • Attempting to set all QA warnings to Ignore triggered a console error. This has been fixed.

  • Using Ctrl+Del/Backspace in Windows would delete more characters than expected. This has been fixed.

  • The StatusBar is not updated after running a batch operation reflecting incorrect character counts. This has been fixed.
