This article will explain how you receive, accept, and work with assignments in Memsource.
Step 1: Whenever a Project Manager assigns a job to you—either individually or to a group of Linguists that you're a part of—you will receive an email notification. This email contains basic information about the assignment, including the username and the project URL needed to access the assignment. Click on the project URL and log in.
Step 2: Once you’re logged in, you will see the overview of the project and the attached resources. To accept an assignment—or decline it—select the job(s) you wish to work on and use the Change Status option.
Step 3: After you have accepted the job, you can start working on it in one of the Memsource workbenches—the Memsource Editor either for your desktop or for the web. To open it in the web editor, click on the name of the job. The next lesson explains how to open jobs in the desktop editor.
