Hello MemSource users and Memsource support
I've just done a job of around 9,000 words in 28 documents in memoQ and uploaded it back to Memsource.
I could say a couple of things about the QA check that I then have to run as it could be improved a bit like with an "ignore all" button. At present, as I check the segments, I have to click on them one by one to ignore false alerts.
Due to the high number of people's names and place names, I probably had to click 700 times on the ignore button. I realise I could have entered them all in the dictionary but some of these names only occur once, while others occur maybe 50 times. A skip all button would also be nice as some names you don't want to enter in the dictionary for "technical" reasons.
But that aside, my BIG problem now is that I cannot confirm the job as there is one or more QA warnings that I have apparently missed.
I would clearly like to navigate straight back to these missed warnings rather than open 28 docs one by one and rerun the QA check but I can't find a way to do this.
Is there a way please?
Thanks in advance.
There currently isn’t any feature that would allow you to search all the files at once and navigate straight back to the missed warnings; you will therefore need to run the QA checks separately.
We will however take your feedback into consideration for future improvements.
To speed up the process, you can select multiple QA entries to ignore them at once. Click on the first line, then press Shift and click on the last line of your selection, and then click in the “i” column to ignore all.
While it is not your desired 28 clicks only, it should still save you some time.
